Our Programs

Hands On Horses

Meet a horse and learn about caring for these wonderful creatures, as well as about the activities associated with our Equine Community. Expect to spend at least 30-45 minutes with us.

Limited to 10 folks per session, ages 5+. (Babies in arms are ok, no charge).

$15 per person. Groups of 4+: $50, $10 for each additional guest.

This program does not include horseback riding.

Pony Crew

Pony Crew is one of our most coveted programs, in which we invite participants to learn from and interact with horses. They learn about barn management, horse care and stable manners. There is no riding in Pony Crew.

Limited to 10 children and 2 adult participants each session. Participants are asked to commit to 14 sessions. You must be pre-approved before attending.

Check in / Check Out by a guardian is required at the wash racks located between the C & D aisles. Please adhere to start and end times for pick up and drop off. We cannot accommodate unaccompanied minors outside of the program hours. Participants must wear provided vests to identify them while on site. Closed toed shoes are required; we may have extra boots to fit you!

Waivers are required and can be completed electronically or onsite.

This is a free program but we strongly encourage you donate to our conservancy to support this and other programs.

Birthday Parties

Party Rules & Guidelines:

  1. Guest Limit:

    • Maximum of 10 children per party.

    • Minimum of 3 parents (all parents encouraged to attend)

  2. Age & Height Requirements:

    • Children must be 5 years or older and meet the specified height requirement (42” or taller and under 175 pounds) to participate in horse activities.

  3. Provided Amenities:

    • We will provide picnic tables, a tent awning, and restrooms.

    • Parents are responsible for providing decorations and cake.

  4. Material Fee:

    • For Level 2, if you choose to have us provide the crafting materials for the horses, there will be an additional $10 per child.

  5. RULES:

    • Balloons are not allowed for safety reasons.

    • No running or yelling - “inside” voices please (even if outside)

    • No Flash Photography

  6. Additional Information

    • All Parties Will Be Outside (if weather permits)

    • Parking on Orion Drive, where you will enter the Annex enclosure by the pasture

  • Duration: 1.5 to 2 hours

    • Welcome & Introduction (10–15 minutes):

      • Meet and Greet, explanation of events and rules.

    • Hobby Horse Course (30–40 minutes) - hobby horses will be provided

    • Free Time / Photos (15–20 minutes):

      • Horses in fenced pasture, separate from guests

    Price: $250

  • Duration: 1.5 to 2 hours

    • Welcome & Introduction (10–15 minutes):

      • Meet and Greet, explanation of events and rules.

    • Arts & Crafts Activity (20–30 minutes):

      • Kids create their own hobby horses (materials provided or parents bring their own).

    • Horse Interaction at the Fence Line (30–40 minutes):

      • Horse brought over to the fence line for hands-on interaction.

      • The horse owner provides a demonstration and allows the kids to pet the horse and ask questions

    • Free Play or Photos (10–15 minutes):

      • Allow time for free play or photos with the horse at the fence line.
